FLFA COMBINE
FLFA Football Combine
The FLFA Football Combine is a fun and exciting way to kick off the football season each August. Football players have an opportunity to meet their coaches and teammates, compete alongside their friends and demonstrate the progress they made by working hard throughout the summer.
The combine includes five events that measure speed, agility, strength and explosiveness. Players are encouraged to give their best effort, support their teammates and enjoy the beginning of a new season.
Football players will also be weighed in.
Results are not published but documented. Inquire with the head coach for your child’s results.
40-Yard Dash
The 40-yard dash measures straight-line speed and acceleration. Each player runs 40 yards from a stationary start, with a laser timing system recording the finish time for accuracy.

Broad Jump
The standing broad jump measures horizontal power, explosiveness and body control. Players begin behind a marked line and jump forward from a stationary two-footed stance. The distance is measured from the starting line to the closest point where the player lands.
