“My experience with FLFA has shown me how important it is to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for both athletes and families. Youth sports should be about more than winning —it should teach teamwork, commitment, accountability, confidence, and how to handle both success and challenges. I believe every athlete deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow, regardless of their skill level. As parents, coaches, and volunteers, we have a responsibility to lead by example and make sure the experience is enjoyable and memorable. FLFA is a community, and when we work together, communicate, and put the kids first, we can provide an experience that they will carry with them long after the season ends.”
