League Jamboree
The League Jamboree is a multi-team scrimmage that gives players their first taste of live action before the regular season begins. Teams compete against several opponents in timed sessions, rotating to a new matchup after each period. Possession does not change following touchdowns or turnovers, allowing each offense to continue running plays and maximizing repetitions for everyone.
For many teams, the Jamboree is their first action of the season. It gives coaches an opportunityto evaluate players, experiment with different lineups, introduce new plays and help athletes learn the game in a competitive but instructional environment.
02
League Picture Day
Picture Day is an opportunity for football players and cheerleaders to take both team and
individual photos. It is a great way to capture the season and preserve memories that families can
enjoy for years to come. Scheduling and purchasing information will be available as the event
approaches.
03
Cutter Showcase
The Cutter Showcase is an evening festival that introduces all Fair Lawn football players and
cheerleaders to the community. Each participant is introduced at midfield at Vander Plaat Field
by the Voice of Fair Lawn Football, Patrick Blowres. Following the introductions, every
cheerleading squad performs for the crowd. It is an exciting night that brings the entire Cutter
family together and celebrates the start of a new season
04
Pink Out
The Pink Out is a special home game-day event dedicated to raising funds and increasing
awareness in the fight against breast cancer. In partnership with Susan G. Komen, our football
players, cheerleaders, coaches and families come together to support an important cause while
filling Vander Plaat Field with pink.
05
Senior Day
Senior Day is an end-of-season pregame ceremony honoring all graduating eighth-grade football
players and cheerleaders. Families are invited to walk onto the field with their participants and
celebrate their years in the program. It is a special day filled with pride, reflection and
photographs that families will treasure for a lifetime
Weather Policy
The decision to play or practice in rain or snow is made at the discretion of the coaches and
league officials, with participant safety always the top priority. Lightning or thunder will activate
our weather safety protocol and require everyone to clear the field. Activities may resume only
after the area has remained clear of lightning and thunder for at least 30 minutes.
